Yes, it’s snowing again. I can’t believe that 4 days ago I was wearing a spring jacket and driving around with the sunroof wide open, wearing sunglasses and sipping a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino! Today is like blizzard conditions, especially in east Maple Ridge, and there’s a snowfall warning! 

Kaiti turned 20 yesterday! She and her boyfriend are heading to Saskatchewan for a couple of weeks to visit with his sister, grandparents and other assorted relatives. I guess this snow is just a test to see if she’s reading for what Saskatchewan has waiting for her! In the meantime Lindsay continues to bask in the heat and the sunshine of California, amusing us with stories of picking grapefruit off the tree in her backyard.

I’ve got to run along, I’m finishing up a pair of warm woolie mittens for Kaiti. I finally got my camera cleaned, so will post a few photos later and talk about what I’ve been knitting lately.

We had a HUGE customer appreciation sale at the shop this past Saturday. I was astounded at the quantities of yarn that went out the door SO quickly. It should have come as no surprise that these knitters (our lovely customers) were organized and knew just what they wanted and where it was located. The sale started at 7 am, and they were lined up outside the door at 5:30am! The first hour seemed to last forever, but then all too soon my shift was over, and the call of the yarn (and the staff discount) overwhelmed me. Have I mentioned how much I love my job? Seriously. The staff is second to none. Life is good!

Do not trust just one back-up...NOOOOOO!

I am currently trying to recover 4 years worth of photos that were on an external drive. Somehow that drive erased itself, just like that. I have no idea how or why, but obviously I need another back-up plan.

So I’m just sayin...BACK UP YOUR BACK UP!
