I’m bidding on ebay for a wool winder, I’m tired of winding these large unwieldy hanks of cotton yarn by hand. Bidding on two of them actually, in case one gets suddenly whipped out from under me! Bidding ends in 38 minutes for one of them, and an hour and a bit for the other. Wish me luck!

UPDATE: I won! Well, I lost the first one – but the second one ended up cheaper and it’s all mine, baby! Of course, it has to get here first… from England no less!

My books from Amazon should be arriving either today or tomorrow! I ended up ordering The Knitter’s Book of Finishing Techniques and Knitting on the Edge (you are NEVER too old for b’day money)! I hope they arrive today, cuz tomorrow I’m at work all day. Not that THAT is bad. Because of all the yarn, of course.
