such a crafty girl

Okay, so I’m not exactly a “girl”, more like a crafty WOMAN… cheese

Step One. Remove hardware. Sand.
(click to see larger pic on flickr.com)I found this little dresser (think Barbie sized) at the craft store, back in March. I knew what I wanted to do the minute I saw it. Think MODGE PODGE! Think NEW COLOUR!

So I’m a virgin modge podger no longer!  It was a lot of fun to finish this, and now it holds some of the beads and purse findings down in my studio. It’s not really all that practical, because it isn’t really big - but doncha think it’s cute? I meant to show this when I finished it, but I am such a lazy blogger lately!

I actually forgot to take a photo of what it looked like all together before I started the process, because I was in such a hurry to get started. But I will go see if they still have any of these, and will take my little camera and sneek a photo of the “BEFORE”.

That’s a cute little bureau!  Hope you post a picture of the finished project with the handles on, etc.

LOL!!!  I have the ‘big people’ size X 2 in my bedroom!!  I think it’s called ‘ginger jar’ style.

I had a quick visit with your Miss K at the store today when I went to p/u food for the dog.  She’s such a sweetie!
