So remember that tooth I got filled last week? Well it’s been bugging me a lot more than it should. Saturday I popped into the dentist’s office and he said if the pain increased I would probably need a root canal, but that it might just be that the filling was really close to the root and it just needed time to settle down. The pain has been getting worse, so I’m off to the dentist (in an hour) for step one of the root canal. That’ll ease up the pain and I’ll be a happy camper again.
The yarn is Noro Kureyon #131. Totally unrelated to the dentist, it’s the latest ball received from the Kureyon Club. Not the the cheapest way (for me) to buy Kureyon, but it’s my little treat to myself.
In other knitting news, Bejeweled is finished and I’m just waiting for a sunnier day to take a few photos.
And because like Becky I am feeling the love of multiple FO’s in a short time frame, I’ve already cast on for a second scarf in a lighter weight multi-coloured alpaca yarn AND as I couldn’t seem to fall asleep last night I also cast on for a pair of Fetching fingerless gloves for myself in some DB Cashmerino. I’m not sure what it had been intended for, it was just one lone ball of deep purple, sitting in the stash.
And lastly, I found this photo taken back in November when I was knitting Meeps her cozy cat bed (somewhere in the snow photos is a shot of Meeps in the finished product. I’ll try to get a better one at some point). I used 3 hanks of Gjestal Naturgarn (and yes, that is pretty close to the real colour). There’s also a ball of some novelty yarn that looked good with it, and I used the Kitty Pi pattern from Wendy Knits.

You poor girl! At least you’re closer to being pain-free.
I’m enjoying gawking at your knitting! Especially the felted clogs from the last post… I have the pattern but am too afraid of felting to try them.
You’ve got gorgeous items, anyway. I’ll definitely be gawking again!
