Go away, there’s nothing to see here

We are a house of sick people.

Kaiti kicked it off several weeks ago with extreme swollen glands and exhaustion. We still don’t have a confirmed diagnosis after what seems like a bazillion tests but the doctors tell us they are 99% sure she has Mono.

Did I mention her boyfriend isn’t feeling so great either? long face

Two days ago I suddenly and inexplicably developed chills, fever and a hacking cough. I am slightly better today, but missed worked yesterday. I’ve done nothing but sleep. Since you can’t actually get Mono more than once (I had it decades ago, when I was about 18 or 19 yrs. old), I don’t think I have Mono. I blame it on too much snow (and no sun) being closely followed by 19 straight days of FOG. And yes, I know it was sunny here yesterday but I slept through it.

The Hubby is suffering exhaustion from listening to me cough.

So like I said, nothing to see here… move along…

I sure hope you start to feel better soon.  There’s been a lot of hacking and coughing in our household for the past few weeks too!  I also blame it on the weather.

You people in Maple Ridge - nothing but sickies!!!  Pa has been sick with bronchitis for the past few weeks.

We in Burnaby are healthy, sick of the weather but healthy!!

Sorry you’re all sick.  I’ve been coughing for almost a month now, and yesterday I got the magic pills.  I’m not kidding, I took one, and within half an hour, I wasn’t coughing.  Tessalon Perles.  Call your doctor.

Sounds pretty miserable!  I hope you have some good DVDs to watch and a warm fire to sit next to.

Bummer!  It’s no fun being sick, is it?  I hope you at least managed to get out to the killer sale at OUAS last weekend and add some more little lovelies to your already overflowing stash??!  The Malabrigo was calling my name smile
