I feel like a bruise.
There’s been entirely too much happening here in the past week. Things that were emotionally and physically draining.
Yesterday we were looking at the kitchen and realizing it is 95% complete and just needs some cleaning in order to move everything back in. Well, it needs a backsplash too, but that isn’t happening until next week.
However, I put my back out on Sunday, and I’m in no shape to do much of anything, let alone drag boxes up 2 flights of stairs from the basement.
Last night Percocet was my new best friend, as it enabled me to have a few good hours of uninterrupted sleep, which I desperately needed.
Today the chiropractor is back in his office and hopefully can squeeze me in for another adjustment. I’d love to lose the fire that is currently residing in my lower back. Regaining some feeling in my extremities would be a nice thing as well.
So I’ll be back later today or tomorrow, after the chiro appointment. Hopefully in a better frame, physically if not mentally!

Ouch!!! It’s so painful when your back goes out! Hope the chiropractor is of help.
Glad the kitchen is almost done. I look forward to seeing the pictures of the finished job.
Take care.
